This is the only picture I found (in my sorting) of Dad’s amazing garden…and below that such a common view–Dad fixing things–and also one of the hikes around Maji.

Those Kurtz boys knew how to fix things. Grandpa was amazing at it and he passed that on. My Dad was just as happy doing maintenance at school as he was teaching or coaching. I was always an admirer of your family’s adventures in Ethiopia.

Thanks, Dale. It was so great to see you at the memorial service. I think Grandpa Kurtz must have had those “fixer” genes and passed them on!
